The criteria to determine if a commercial or institutional customer has “food service “is:

The food is prepared on-site at the customer’s premises

Food service is a part of the normal operating or business function of the customer.

Current Industrial customers have wastewater strength similar to typical domestic wastewater. If in the future, an Industrial customer wishes to connect to the system and has wastewater with strength higher than typical domestic waste, the sewer rate will be determined on a case-by-case basis, depending upon flow rate and wastewater strength.
